NM0040 – Manic Mommies Escape

Rosa Linda

Hello Friends,

I don’t know about the rest of you, but this has been one trying year for my family; a lot of loss, a lot of heartache and a lot of figuring out how to live with the new “normal.”

As we all reassess, regroup and move forward, one of the best things I decided to do recently was to go on a ladies-only weekend. Because I have gone on this “Manic Mommies Escape” twice before (and because I once featured the Manic Mommies podcast here on New Mexicast: Click here to see that story) I knew many of the women that joined this Escape to Savannah, Georgia. In fact, I was lucky enough to be joined by my two sisters, two of my cousins and some longtime friends. But for many of these ladies they joined this fun bunch without knowing anyone at all. Because of that, the Escape is always a great mix of friends and friendly strangers which makes this unique getaway good for a Mommy’s soul (and many Grand-Mommies too).

This week’s episode is sponsored by the wonderful folks at the New Mexico Bed & Breakfast Association. I hope you will show them some love and visit a New Mexico B & B the next time you come to the Land of Enchantment. Check out all the cool B & B’s at: www.NMBBA.org

And, speaking of sponsors, an event like the Manic Mommies’ Escape wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of many sponsors and, as you’ll see in the story, one of the biggest is Chevrolet. If you are in the market for a cool new car, why not make it a Chevy? You can visit them at: www.Chevrolet.com. You can also learn more about the Manic Mommies themselves at: www.ManicMommies.com

Also, if you want to know more about sponsoring a high-quality, family-friendly story like this one, please be sure to check out New Mexicast’s sponsorship page by clicking here: Sponsor an episode.

There are so many wonderful stories ahead here on New Mexicast. Thanks for sharing our adventures with me!

Lots of love,

Rosa Linda
