NM103 Cool Critters

Rosa Linda

It’s time to meet some cool critters!

This week’s episode has three stories about interesting activities with animals. First up, a visit to the Sandia Mountain Natural History Center in Tijeras, New Mexico where they are introducing kids to lots of creepy, crawly creatures.

Next up, a walk through the rainforest in the desert Southwest as dozens of school children meet exotic, rainforest creatures like parrots, tarantulas, snakes and hissing cockroaches:

And the final story about cool critters is one you won’t soon forget. If you love dancing and you love dogs, this is the story for you. Some call it “Ballroom Dancing for Dogs,” but the official title of this sport is “Canine Freestyle.” Whatever you call it, it is a super fun experience that is sure to leave you smiling!
