NM0010 – Balloon Fiesta

Rosa Linda

– Hello Friends!

This week I am happy to share with you one of the reasons I fell in love with New Mexico more than 10 years ago; The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. It is an annual tradition unlike anything I have ever seen. As waves of hot air balloons take flight (more than 700 in all!) spectators get to walk among them. It is a beautiful experience for people of all ages.

For more information about the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, visit www.BalloonFiesta.com

Now I would like to ask for feedback from all of you wonderful viewers. Recently a few people mentioned they had problems seeing the stories I am posting. If you have any trouble with the media file please let me know (you do need the latest version of QuickTIme… if you don’t have it, click here to download it). Please either send me an email at RLR@NewMexicast.com or post a comment anywhere here on the website. If you don’t tell me there are problems, I won’t know and I can’t fix them.

Thanks to all of you who are spreading the word about New Mexicast. It is a labor of love that I could not do without your support.

Next up in two weeks… a Pinto Bean Parade! Be sure to stay tuned.

Lots of Love,

Rosa Linda

  1. Wow… the kids would love that. We have very small scale balloon festivals out here, but 1/1000th the scale of that!

  2. @Barb & @Chuck – You both have an open invitation to come use our guest room and see Balloon Fiesta. It is worth the trip. (@Barb – That, and your Granddaughters! LOL!)
